House Washing

About this service
What's included in a standard residential house wash?

A full soft-wash of walls, soffits, fascias, gutters, downpipes, and exterior windows. We also rinse decks, porches, and entryways for a complete clean.

How does a soft wash differ from water blasting?

Soft washing uses low pressure and a biodegradable detergent to lift dirt, mould, and grime, protecting paint and joinery. It achieves a cleaner, longer-lasting finish than high-pressure water blasting.

Will it remove mould and cobwebs from eaves and corners?

Yes. The wash removes mould, cobwebs, dust, and general buildup from eaves, soffits, and window frames, leaving the home fresh and bright.

Do you wash windows as part of the service?

Yes, exterior windows are washed and rinsed clear of detergent residue as part of every standard house wash. You don't need a separate window clean.

How long does a house wash take?

Most homes take 2–4 hours, depending on size and condition. Larger or multi-storey properties may take longer, but we'll confirm the timing at booking.

How often should I have my home washed?

Every 12 months is ideal for most Auckland homes. Regular washing prevents mould growth, protects paintwork, and maintains your home's street appeal.

Roof Treatment & Washing

About this service
What's the difference between a roof wash and a roof treatment?

A roof treatment is a low-pressure chemical application that kills moss and lichen, letting rain gradually remove the residue. It's gentler and safer for coatings than a high-pressure wash.

How long before the roof looks clean again?

Visible results usually appear within 4–8 weeks, with full clean-down over several months as rain breaks down the dead growth.

Is the treatment safe for Coloursteel and tile roofs?

Yes. Our solution is suitable for Coloursteel, concrete tile, decramastic and other coated roofs, applied at concentrations safe for paint systems and flashings.

Do you treat gutters and edges too?

We include gutter-line treatment zones so lichen spores don't regrow at run-off points. Downpipes are briefly flushed to protect gardens and stormwater.

How long does the protection last?

Typically 2–3 years, depending on exposure and tree cover. Regular preventative treatments extend coating life and reduce future growth.

Will the chemicals harm gardens or tanks?

We take precautions to keep overspray away from gardens, and disconnect or divert tanks where needed. Our products are biodegradable once diluted by rainwater.

Gutter Cleaning

About this service
How do you clear blocked gutters?

We hand-clear debris by scooping and bagging leaves and sludge, then flush each section with water to confirm flow to the downpipes.

Do you flush downpipes as part of the job?

Yes – downpipes are flushed and tested for proper drainage. If a blockage is below ground level, we'll let you know so you can arrange drain clearing.

Can you reach gutters on two-storey or hard-to-access areas?

Yes. We use extension poles, stabilised ladders and height-safety gear to clean high or difficult-access gutters safely and efficiently.

When is the best time to schedule gutter cleaning?

Twice a year – typically before winter rains and again in late spring. Regular cleaning prevents overflow damage and protects rooflines and fascia boards.

Do you remove and take away the waste?

Yes – we collect and bag all debris for disposal or green-waste removal, leaving the site tidy.

How can I tell if my gutters need attention?

Signs include overflow during rain, water marks on soffits, or sagging sections. If you see any of these, it's time for a clean or inspection.

Deck Cleaning

About this service
What's included in a professional deck wash?

We clean the decking boards, handrails, and surrounding steps or paths using a soft-wash method that lifts mould, algae, and grime from timber or composite decks.

Is the wash safe for timber and stained surfaces?

Yes. We use low-pressure cleaning and gentle detergents to protect existing coatings. For pre-stain prep, we adjust pressure and rinse thoroughly to avoid fibre lift.

Can you remove slippery mould around spas or shaded areas?

Absolutely. We treat and wash spa decks, shaded corners, and high-moisture zones with an anti-slip treatment that removes buildup and restores traction.

How soon after washing can I re-stain my deck?

Typically 24–48 hours, depending on weather. Decks should be completely dry before applying oil or stain to ensure proper absorption and finish.

Do you clean composite or hardwood decks too?

Yes. We tailor our approach for pine, kwila, hardwoods, and composite decking, using suitable detergents and water pressure for each material type.

How often should decks be professionally cleaned?

Once or twice a year, depending on exposure. Regular cleaning prevents slippery growth and keeps the timber in good condition between staining cycles.

Concrete Cleaning

About this service
What types of concrete areas do you clean?

We clean driveways, footpaths, patios, car parks, and other exterior concrete using a soft-pressure wash that removes dirt, oil, mould, and surface stains without damaging the concrete.

How do you remove slippery moss and lichen?

We apply a biodegradable treatment that kills moss and lichen, then rinse the surface clean. In shaded or damp areas, this reduces the risk of slips and helps prevent quick regrowth.

Can you clean coloured or stamped concrete safely?

Yes. We use the right water pressure and detergents for coloured, exposed aggregate, and decorative finishes, ensuring the clean surface still looks even and consistent.

Will concrete cleaning remove oil stains or tyre marks?

It will remove surface oil and dirt, but some older oil stains may need repeat treatment. We can apply a degreaser or pre-treatment for heavily marked driveways.

How long does a cleaned concrete surface stay looking good?

Most surfaces stay clean for 12–24 months, depending on exposure to shade, trees, and runoff. Applying a follow-up treatment every year helps maintain the result.

Do you need vehicle access or special drainage?

No. We bring portable equipment and manage runoff responsibly, following environmental standards. Vehicle access is helpful for large areas, but not required.

Fence & Wall Cleaning

About this service
What types of fences and walls can you clean?

We clean timber, painted, brick, concrete, and plaster fences and boundary walls using low-pressure soft-wash techniques suited to each surface.

Is the wash safe for painted or stained fences?

Yes. We adjust pressure and detergent strength to protect painted or stained finishes, lifting grime and mould without stripping the coating.

Can you remove green moss and black algae from boundary walls?

Absolutely. Our biodegradable wash solution kills moss and algae at the root, restoring surfaces to a clean, even finish and helping prevent quick regrowth.

Do you clean both sides of a fence or wall?

We can clean both sides when access allows. If one side adjoins a neighbour's property, we can limit work to your side or arrange dual consent if needed.

How often should fences or walls be washed?

Once every 12–18 months is ideal to prevent heavy staining, mould growth, and paint deterioration, especially in shaded or damp areas.

Can you clean heritage or older timber fences safely?

Yes. For older timber we use extra-low pressure and gentle detergents to protect soft or weathered boards while still removing surface growth.

Pre-Paint House Washing

About this service
What makes a pre-paint wash different from a standard house wash?

A pre-paint wash focuses on surface preparation: removing mould, grime and oxidised “chalk,” and ensuring the surface is clean, sound, and ready for primer and topcoats. It's a more thorough, painter-friendly process.

Do you remove oxidisation/chalking so the new paint will adhere?

Yes. We carry out mould and chalk removal using painter-safe detergents and controlled soft-wash techniques, followed by a thorough rinse, so primers and topcoats can bond properly.

Will the exterior be fully dry and ready for the painter the same day?

Typically yes. We aim for a paint-ready dry finish on the same day (weather dependent). Your painter can then prime/paint as soon as moisture levels and conditions are suitable.

Is the wash safe for older paint and different cladding types?

It is. We use a low-pressure soft-wash approach suited to weatherboards, plaster, brick, and metal claddings, adjusting technique to protect delicate or ageing coatings while still achieving a clean, stable surface.

I'm changing to a darker/lighter colour. Do you prep any differently?

We tailor the clean for colour-change prep by paying extra attention to high-exposure areas, streaking, and residual chalk so the new colour lays evenly and the finish looks consistent.

How far in advance of painting should I book the wash?

Ideally 2–5 days before painting to allow for any weather rescheduling and to ensure a dry, dust-free surface on paint day. We can coordinate timing directly with your painter if you prefer.

Pre-Sale House Washing

About this service
When should we book exterior washing in the sales process?

Ideally 3–7 days before photography and at least a week before the first open home. That timing keeps the exterior fresh for photos while allowing for any weather delays.

What's included in a sale-ready exterior refresh?

A soft-wash of the main exterior, photo-prep cleaning of front entry/porch, and driveway/entry presentation (paths and key approach areas). We can add windows, fence/wall cleaning, gutters or roof treatment on request.

Will the clean improve real-estate photos?

Yes. Removing mould, dust and cobwebs makes paint colours pop and improves contrast for photography. We also tidy high-traffic areas (letterbox, front steps, handrails) that buyers focus on in the first few seconds.

Are your products safe around gardens and painted surfaces?

They are. We use biodegradable soft-wash detergents and controlled application, then rinse thoroughly. It's safe for paint, timber and planted areas when used as directed.

How long does it take, and do I need to be home?

Most pre-sale exterior jobs take 2–4 hours for an average home. You don't need to be home if we have access to the exterior taps and the property boundary is open. We'll confirm any gate or pet details beforehand.

What if it rains on the day or there are water restrictions?

If weather would affect the finish (heavy rain/high winds), we'll reschedule promptly to keep your photo timeline on track. For water restrictions, we follow council rules and can discuss alternatives or timing to remain compliant.

Commercial Building Washing

About this service
Do you work after hours to avoid disrupting customers and staff?

Yes. We can schedule shopfront and office façade washing outside trading hours (early mornings, evenings, or weekends) to minimise disruption and keep entrances accessible.

Can you clean signage, glass, and cladding without damaging finishes?

We use a soft-wash system with biodegradable detergents, then rinse to a clean finish. It's safe for common commercial claddings, window mullions, and most painted or powder-coated signage.

Do you wash car parks and forecourts, including oil and slippery areas?

Yes. Our car park and forecourt cleaning targets grime, tyre marks, and slippery growth. Where needed we spot-treat oil marks and high-traffic zones, then rinse for a safer surface.

How do you manage multi-tenant sites and access?

We coordinate with the property manager, provide advance notices if required, cone off work zones, and stage the clean so tenants retain safe access to entries and loading bays.

Can you set up a regular maintenance schedule?

Absolutely. We offer scheduled exterior maintenance cleans (quarterly, six-monthly, or annual) so shopfronts, façades, and forecourts stay consistently presentable.

Are your products and methods safe around the public and landscaping?

They are. We use biodegradable detergents and controlled application. We also manage runoff carefully and follow site H&S requirements to protect people and planted areas.

Body Corporate Building Washing

About this service
What areas of a body-corporate property do you wash?

Our service covers the full exterior of multi-unit complexes, including walls, entrances, shared paths, driveways and car-park surfaces. We also clean gutters, soffits and other high-use communal areas so the whole property looks consistent.

How is washing different for multi-unit complexes?

We coordinate with on-site managers and tenants to minimise disruption, schedule work in stages, and use low-pressure soft-wash systems that protect paintwork and cladding across multiple dwellings.

Can you remove mould and lichen from shared walls and pathways?

Yes. We apply a biodegradable mould and lichen treatment that breaks down growth over time without damaging coatings or surrounding gardens. These treatments are ideal for concrete, plaster and block walls in communal spaces.

Do you provide regular exterior service plans?

Absolutely. Routine exterior service plans are available for quarterly, six-monthly or annual maintenance. They keep the property looking fresh and help body-corporate committees plan predictable budgets.

What safety measures are in place when cleaning larger buildings?

All work is carried out under current height-safety standards using certified harness points and extension equipment. We maintain clear communication with on-site representatives throughout the job.

Are your products and methods safe around residents and landscaping?

They are. We use biodegradable detergents and soft-wash techniques that are safe for people, pets and plants while still highly effective at removing grime, mould and mildew.
